Over the coming weeks, users will be invited to set up their payout information using our new payout experience. In the future, all users will be required to move to the new system, so we recommend getting set up once your account is eligible to avoid any disruption.
The new payout experience makes it easier to manage your payout information. You’ll be able to change your payout recipient or payment method without having to resubmit all of your details each time.
When your account is eligible, you’ll see a banner on the broadcast page directing you to the new form.
Your existing payout information will remain valid until you complete and submit your new payout information.
You’ll be guided through three steps:
Payout recipient, tax, and payout information can be managed independently, so you won't always need to resubmit everything when making a change.
You can also have multiple payout methods on file and choose which one is active.
We plan to continue improving the experience, including providing more detailed payout status information in the future.
Cam To Cam allows you to share your camera (video only, no audio) with the creator. When you share your cam, the creator will receive a notice in their chat. They must accept on their side to view your cam. When viewing your cam, you will see an orange eye icon indicating that they are currently viewing your cam. Only the creator can see your cam.
How do I share my cam?
To request Cam to Cam on desktop, click “Cam to Cam” underneath the video.
On mobile, tap the expand menu icon to the left of the chat bar and select Cam to Cam from the Customize Show options.
You may need to grant access to your camera in the browser settings. Once you hit start, your cam will be shared with the creator only. They must click accept to view your cam.
Why am I being asked to verify my age?
Please note that due to age verification law requirements, use of the Cam-to-Cam feature requires that you complete our streamlined age verification process.

Although DAC7 reporting requirements started for tax year 2023, since that time, we have been in a dialog with EU tax authorities to ensure that, as a US-based platform, we are taking into appropriate consideration the privacy obligations we have to EU creators and that we establish the bare minimum of information that should be reported. We are now in a position to move forward with reporting information required by DAC7, beginning with tax year 2023, and going forward future years will be reported by 31st January each year for the prior one.
What is DAC7?
DAC7 is an EU tax transparency regulation. It requires digital platforms (like Chaturbate) to automatically report the income and tax information of EU-based creators who earn money by providing \"personal services\" or selling goods on the platform.
Does this apply to me?
This applies to you if both of the following are true:
What information will you collect?
To prepare DAC7 reports for each year, we will ask you to provide or verify:
What do I need to do right now?
Accounts subject to DAC7 reporting requirements will need to provide or update tax information. We are currently rolling out a new tax information collection form. If your account needs additional tax details, you will receive a notification when the form becomes available to you.
I’m no longer on Chaturbate. What is the minimum information you need for historical reporting?
For historical reporting, users will only need to provide payee information and tax information. They do not need to add new payout info if they are not going to receive future payments.
How will I know what is being reported for DAC7?
Before any DAC7 information is submitted to the relevant tax authorities, we will email you a password-protected PDF containing the details that will be reported. This will give you the opportunity to review the information in advance and ensure it is accurate.

ChaturSafe is a chat moderation tool that automatically monitors chat messages in real time, detecting potentially harmful or inappropriate content. This feature was developed to help keep users safe and was shaped directly by creator feedback to support the level of respect and behavior you expect in your chatroom.
With ChaturSafe, you can enable specific filters and choose your preferred strictness level: Low, Medium, High, or Custom for more granular control. Available filter topics include religion, politics, hostile language, sensitive topics, and violent threats.
When a message is blocked, the sender receives a private notice explaining that their message was not delivered, along with the reason for the rejection. In the upper right corner of your chat, you’ll see a ChaturSafe badge indicator showing that a message has been filtered. You can also access a log of filtered messages, where you’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback on whether the moderation decision was accurate. This feedback can help you fine-tune your settings if adjustments are needed.
In addition to customizable filters, platform-level Trust & Safety filtering is enabled in all rooms by default. This system automatically screens messages for harmful, illegal, or policy-violating content in accordance with platform guidelines. This protection cannot be disabled. When a message is filtered under these rules, the user will receive a notification informing them that their message was blocked.
ChaturSafe is currently rolling out and will soon be available to all creators.
When will ChaturSafe be available?
ChaturSafe is rolling out now and will soon be available for all broadcasters.
Does ChaturSafe only work in public chat? What about direct messages, private messages, and tip notes?
The current version of ChaturSafe only applies to public chats. In the future, ChaturSafe’s functionality should be available for PMs/DMs and tip notes.
What is Trust & Safety?
All messages are automatically screened by the “Trust & Safety” filtering for harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content in accordance with platform policies. This filtering is by default and cannot be disabled by the creator.
Will I be banned if ChaturSafe keeps blocking my messages?
ChaturSafe may block messages that either violate the Code of Conduct or the individual broadcaster’s moderation preferences. Please ensure you are familiar with and abide by the Code of Conduct, as violating these rules may lead to termination from the platform.
How do I enable ChaturSafe?
ChaturSafe is now live and you will see it in your chat settings. Click the gear icon to access your chat settings and toggle on ChaturSafe. Please note that Trust and Safety filters are always enabled and cannot be disabled.
How can I edit my ChaturSafe filters?
Go to “Advanced filter settings” to see and modify all filter categories.
Where can I view which messages were filtered?
You will see a ChaturSafe badge in the upper right corner of your chat when a message is blocked, or you go to the “Blocked message log” in your chat settings.
How can I add someone to my Trusted Viewer list?
Navigate to the Trusted Viewers List section in your ChaturSafe Dashboard and enter the username you wish to exempt. You can add or remove users and update your configuration preferences at any time for immediate effect.

The Swedish government has passed changes to its existing Sex Purchase Act. The legislation is noted to be motivated by the government’s desire to prevent societal harms and the objectification of women that the government believes are related to the creation of consensual adult content. The legislation will effectively prevent members of the Chaturbate community having a presence in the territorial borders of Sweden from continuing as members of the community.
At the risk of oversimplifying, as we understand it, the underlying thesis that supports the legislation is that content creators who are involved in online adult content creation are, whether the creators believe it or not (and irrespective of the level of informed, knowing adult consent present) being exploited and require the government's protection by preventing them from generating any online revenues. Although, of course, it is important to be very cognizant of real issues of exploitation and nonconsensual sex work, we believe that the new legislation has painted the entire consenting adult community with this brush, resulting in the government taking away these consenting adults’ agency and freedom to engage what remains legal expressive activity.
It is with that background that we are writing to advise you that, as of 18.00 on 30 June 2025, community members within Sweden will:
▪︎ No longer be able to purchase, send or receive tokens
▪︎ No longer be able to convert tokens into payments
▪︎ Have their fan club and supporter memberships canceled
Again, although it is not our place as a US company to take positions with respect to Swedish law, from the outside, we respectfully do not agree with the categorical governmental decision to block all adult content creators from generating revenues in Sweden which is now resulting in Swedish creators losing their income from what remains to be legal activity.
Please note that as of this writing, as a courtesy to our Community members who may be viewing the platform or broadcasting from Sweden, we will not be blocking access to the platform. With that written, we do not know for how long this will be sustainable if the legislation remains in place without clarification or exemption for age verified content creators and users.

Paxum is a wallet provider which allows money to be transferred to the account and then the payee has options to transfer out. Paxum offers multiple withdrawal options (Wire, EFT/ACH, External Credit/Debit Card, and Transfer to Other Accounts). They also provide a prepaid debit card so this payment option is popular.
\nThey have a fee schedule for withdrawing money on their end (like every other wallet provider).

\n\n
Chaturbate fully complies with the DMCA as a registered “service provider.” Per our Terms & Conditions, users may only upload content they own or have the right to distribute. Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we promptly remove infringing content from our platform.
\n\n
We also support Chaturbate broadcasters by sending DMCA notices to other platforms hosting unauthorized copies of their Chaturbate content.
\n\n
If a site is illegally recording and republishing your broadcasts without your consent, it is a violation of your rights. To help protect your content, Chaturbate offers a free DMCA notice service to assist broadcasters with content removal.
\n\n
Since Chaturbate does not claim ownership of your shows—they are entirely your property—you are the only one who can pursue legal claims against third-party sites.
\n\n
While we are happy to assist with takedown requests, we recommend that you first try submitting a DMCA report directly to the third-party sites hosting your stolen content. Most of these sites have DMCA takedown request forms at the bottom of their homepage where you can submit a copyright removal request.
\nLet us know if you need further assistance!
\n\n
We’re happy to assist with DMCA takedown notices for any of your content that has been used without your permission.
\nTo ensure a smooth process, please double-check that your contact email and Chaturbate username are accurate and provide complete links to all infringing content.
\nImportant Submission Guidelines:
\n✅ Submit exact URLs for each photo or video that was stolen (not search result pages). [Instructions here]
\n✅ Ensure the links directly reference your Chaturbate broadcasts and not unrelated content.
\n✅ Complete the form, check the accuracy box, e-sign, and hit submit.
\n\n
Once submitted, our DMCA team will review and respond as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to Support.
\n\n
Copyright violations happen frequently online, and we understand that seeing your content posted without consent is a serious privacy concern.
\nIf you find your videos or photos on another website, please submit a DMCA takedown request [here].
\nSubmission Guidelines:
\n✅ Provide direct URLs to the infringing content (not search pages).
\n✅ Ensure the URL displays the actual video or image you want removed.
\n\n
How to Copy the Correct URL:
\nFor Videos:
\n1. Right-click on the video.
\n2. Select “Copy video URL.”
\n3. Paste the video URL onto your list.
\n\n
For Photos:
\n1. Right-click on the photo.
\n2. Select “Copy image address” (not “Copy image link”).
\n3. Paste the image address onto your list.
\n\n
Once you have the correct URLs, submit them through our DMCA Takedown Request Form.
\nChaturbate works with a network of third-party marketing affiliate sites that syndicate live broadcasts in real time (not recordings) to promote Chaturbate and increase visibility for broadcasters.
\nIf you’ve opted into affiliate sharing, these sites will only display your live broadcasts and images through Chaturbate’s affiliate API.
\n\n
What Does This Mean for You?
\n✅ Your image may appear on external sites that market Chaturbate rooms.
\n✅ Affiliate sharing helps drive more traffic to your cam.
\n✅ All Chaturbate accounts are automatically opted in to affiliate sharing.
\n\n
Opting Out of Affiliate Sharing
\nIf you do not want your content shared with affiliate sites, you can opt out by:
\n1. Going to the “Settings & Privacy” tab in your profile.
\n2. Changing the “Appear on network sites” setting to “NO”.
\nOnce opted out, your live stream will no longer be available for syndication. However, this may result in less traffic to your room.
\n\n
Reporting Unauthorized Use
\nIf you find an affiliate site storing images of your broadcast more than 24 hours after your last stream, please submit the direct URLs through our DMCA Takedown Request Form.
\nAdditionally, if an affiliate site includes personal references to your broadcaster profile that you want removed, you can also submit those direct URLs via the DMCA Takedown Request Form.
\n\n
Additional DMCA Information
While we are often successful in getting content removed, some sites may ignore our takedown requests and continue publishing the content. In these cases, you—as the copyright owner—are the only party with the legal right to take further action.
If you choose to pursue additional action against these sites, please let us know if we can provide any information to support your efforts.

The most popular webcam brand is Logitech. As an added perk, Logitech cameras also have great built-in microphones.
Lighting: Don’t let dark shadows ruin your broadcast. If you have desk lights or lamps at home, try adjusting them so they enhance your appearance on stream. You want to avoid dark shadows, particularly on your face. You can find many lighting kits for your webcam setup available online. People are there to see you! Don't forget that.
Audio: Good audio quality is another way to enhance the quality of your streams. If your sound is too low, not clear or noisy it can create a negative streaming experience. The audio for your streams can be improved with a good microphone, proper audio configuration, setting up your microphone in a good location and by reducing background noise.
Accessories: Spice up your cam shows with lingerie, costumes, wigs, cam room accessories (also great conversation starters), or even cosplay! We suggest making a wish-list of items you want and need and add it to your Chaturbate profile. In general you should push the highest quality stream your setup is capable of. We will automatically transcode your stream to multiple qualities to suit every viewer's connection.
RTMP URL (See link above for more): rtmp://live.stream.highwebmedia.com/live-origin
Codec: H.264 Video, AAC Audio.
Aspect ratio: 4:3 or 16:9 only.
Resolution: From a height of 240 pixels up to 4k (2160 pixels).
Frame Rate: 24-30fps, or 48-60fps for high frame rate (See note below.)
Bitrate: Up to 50 Mbps Video, 192 Kbps Audio - Must be CBR.
Key Frame Interval: Any reasonable value; between 2-5s is good.
H.264 Profile: Main or High preferred; baseline is acceptable.
We support streams up to 60 fps, however we highly recommend not to use a higher frame rate unless you have a high quality camera (Not a webcam) capable of supporting these frame rates. High frame rates are commonly used when streaming video games, but have little effect on webcam streams. Broadcasting the same resolution at a high frame rate will increase your bandwidth requirement.
\nNote: When broadcasting at 4k, a maximum frame rate of 30 fps is permitted.
\nFailure to keep to the above may result in your exclusion from using OBS on Chaturbate.
