EFT is a hassle-free method that allows you to receive payments in Canadian dollars (CAD) directly to your bank account.
When updating your payout information to this method, please make sure to enter your institution number (typically 3 digits), the transit number (typically 5 digits) and your account number in the account number.
❗Important notes:
- Once you enter in your bank's BIC/SWIFT, the 'institution number', 'transit number', and 'account number' fields will appear. If you are unaware of your bank's BIC/SWIFT code, we recommend that you contact your bank.
- Canada EFT is deposited to your account in Canadian dollars (CAD) which means we cannot deposit to USD accounts. For USD accounts, we would have the option of ACH if your account is in the US or Wire if it’s not.
- EFT payments will be converted by our payment processor on the date that payment is processed. Please note that Multi Media has no involvement in establishing the exchange rate. This is solely done by the payment provider that we have procured. Prior to making this payment method accessible to everyone, we conducted substantial testing and obtained positive feedback about the rate used by our provider.
