Room Settings (Settings & Privacy)

Check out the “Settings & Privacy” tab below the broadcast window to configure your room and privacy settings. Customize restrictions and features, such as blocking your region from entering your room, setting a password, modifying your private show settings, or enabling your Fan Club.

Blocking Regions From Viewing Your Broadcast

You can block specific regions, states, or countries from seeing your room in the “Broadcaster Settings” on the “Settings & Privacy” tab. Viewers, both anonymous and registered, using IP addresses in blocked areas will not be able to access your room.

Please note: detecting location based upon IP address is not 100% accurate and there are methods to bypass this.

Kick, Ban or Silence Viewers

You have the ability to restrict chat privileges or ban users from your room. To prevent someone from chatting in your room, click on their username in chat and select “Silence for 6 hours.” To ban someone from your room so they cannot chat or view your room, click on their username in chat and select “Kick/Ban.” If you wish to permanently ban someone from your room, or to un-ban or un-silence a user, click the icon at the top of chat and select “View/Edit Bans and Silences.”
