Sexual Health

The World Health Organization defines sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination, and violence.

Camming is the safest form of sex work and Chaturbate is proud to provide a platform that allows broadcasters to safely to explore themselves and connect with individuals from around the world. However, when camming with partners and friends, be sure to use safe sex practices and contraception methods to protect yourself and partners from sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancy. Sex Positivity and Healthy Sexual Exploration

Chaturbate believes in sex and body positivity, and we want to continue to cultivate a space where people feel empowered to explore their sexual desires and fantasies in safe and consensual ways. Safe sexual exploration requires consent, and that participants have a clear head and understand the differences between reality and fantasy. For a community-engaged exploration of your sexuality and sexual health, see:

Sex Trafficking Help

While many people around the world choose sex work every day of their own volition, unfortunately, some are tricked or even forced into sex work.  Sex trafficking, a particular form of human trafficking, is defined as the use of force and/or manipulation to coerce people into performing sexual labor.  Traffickers prey on people in highly vulnerable situations and use false promises of well-paying jobs and safe conditions to lure individuals into sex work. While people of all genders, races, and nationalities are trafficked, people who are new migrants, undocumented, homeless, young runaways, or who have substance abuse and/or mental health issues face risk factors that make them especially vulnerable to trafficking.

For myths, facts, and statistics about trafficking, or if you are unsure if you are in a trafficking situation, see the Polaris Organization.
