We’ve simplified messaging on Chaturbate.
Private Messages (PMs) and Direct Messages (DMs) are now merged into one unified inbox called Messages. This creates a cleaner, more streamlined experience where all conversations live in one place.
What is Messages?
Messages is your all-in-one inbox.
- Combines Private Messages (PMs) and Direct Messages (DMs)
- Displays all conversations in a single thread view
- Keeps your message history organized and easy to access
How do I send a Message on Desktop?
To read and manage your messages, click the floating chat bubble icon or navigate to https://chaturbate.com/messages.
To start a new message, click the chat bubble icon with the plus sign in the header of the message:
You can then search for a creator’s username in the new window.
Messages can be filtered by:
- All
- Unread
- Tipped (Users that you have tipped or who have tipped you)
- Following
- Followers
Please note that messages appearing to be spam are automatically filtered out of your inbox.
How do I send a Message on Mobile?
On the lower portion of your screen you will find the Messages Icon
To start a new message, click the chat bubble icon with the plus sign in the header of the message window:
You can then search for a creator’s username and message them directly.
Note: Messages can be initiated by broadcasters, moderators, fan club members, supporters, regular users, and certain Pay Per Message users, though availability may vary based on room settings and permissions.
Message Safety & Blocked Content
We’ve enhanced messaging safety across the platform.
- Messages that violate Chaturbate Terms and Conditions are automatically filtered by ChaturSafe
- Applies regardless of customized, individual ChaturSafe settings
