We’ve simplified messaging on Chaturbate.
Private Messages (PMs) and Direct Messages (DMs) are now merged into one unified inbox called Messages. This creates a cleaner, more streamlined experience where all conversations live in one place.
As conversations are brought into the new unified inbox, you may notice your unread message count increase. This is expected and simply reflects unread messages from both systems now appearing in one place. If you have more than 100 unread messages, your unread message count will reset. Private messaging may be temporarily affected while the update is in progress (October 14, 2026). Thank you for your patience.
